Up in the sky, so high, so far,
Lived a tiny, twinkling star.
"One day," it said, "I'll shine so bright,
And light the world with my soft light."
Through the night, it learned to glow,
Dancing with the winds that blow.
The moon would smile, the clouds would cheer,
For Little Star, they held so dear.
One fine night, it made a wish,
To glide across the ocean's swish.
Down it fell, a shooting light,
Making the dark, a bit less night.
Children saw and clapped with glee,
For Little Star was wild and free.
It learned that shining from the heart,
Is where true brightness gets its start.
So when you see the stars above,
Remember their twinkling is filled with love.
For every star has a dream to share,
And lights the world with special care.
